Case Study Raiffeisen Bank International
Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) considers Austria and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) to be its home markets. The 15 regional markets are covered by subsidiary banks. RBI is the only Austrian bank with branches and representatives present in the world's financial centres. In total, nearly 56,000 employees tend to 14.6 million customers in more than 2,900 bank branches, the vast majority of which are within CEE.
In order to achieve a more transparent management of products and group customers and to provide key information to decision makers, a holistic view of cost effectiveness and risk-adjusted profitability was needed.
Multi-dimensional reporting was also necessary to monitor profitability for individual and aggregate customers and products. The reports were to be made available to all customer advisers, up to top management. In addition, reports needed to serve as encouragement in the existing employee incentive scheme.
Specific-Group developed a comprehensive web application to meet RBI’s needs. The application allows for different evaluation report views as well as profitability management, and factors in country-specific conditions in branch offices. In addition, the solution includes multi-dimensional reports with functionalities such as administration, monitoring, and export formats.
