Case Study ANA AVENUE
ANA AVENUE is a portal, where you have the possibility to create your own shopping street with your favorite shops. You have also the possibility to share it with your friends and other users.
It was required to create a portal, which serves as a central place for finding interesting and useful „Tipps“ - websites, which provide products, services and information. The very important feature was a game-like interaction of user with portal (instead of boring grids and lists). Major target group of users are women, who should feel easy and comfortable, finding something new daily. For covering bigger audience also mobile devices-adapted version of portal was created.
Specific-Group created a solution based on modern web-technologies, responsive and user-friendly design. Finding „Tipps“ was implemented with use of full-text indexes, what gave possibility to include more items in search results. Mobile version of product was made as web-based, java-script application. In comparison to native approach, this saved significant amount of budget as on start, so also during further enhancements and support.
